Boyfriend On Demand

In it’s aspect of tech for romance it does recall Love Alarm, only more immersive.

Tech was actually conceptualised as a tool to help us in tasks that felt larger than us, but what happens when it starts controlling even our feelings and inner thoughts? And how much of out life are we willing to sign off to it, and for it to have access to.

How much data does it accumulate and use to manipulate, in the name of utility or fun.

It begs the question of where the barrier stands between reality and a man made reality.

And obviously the next question is which is better.

But actually we should reflect on the fact that the time we have is limited, so we should be wise with how we use it in our reality, an alternate reality, or evaluating reality with an artificial measure. I would define artificial as in non organic, human made, with everything composed on analytics and logistics.

But mankind is messy, illogical and animalistic. Not charming in its perfection, but certainly in it’s authenticity and rawness.

So how much power should we attribute to these technological entities? It is for everyone to decide for themselves: whether they want their book of life to be full or if they want it to only have one single page, with a QR code that leads to another link.
